The person behind Caffeinated Programmer

About

I'm a consultant and developer based in Norway. By day I help people solve problems with enterprise software, which I genuinely love doing. The helping-people part, that is. The tech stack is slowly pushing me towards insanity.

By night I'm poking at whatever caught my attention that week: IoT sensors, Rust, web frameworks, terminal tools, infrastructure. Honestly, anything with a blinking cursor.

I run on about two pots of coffee a day, keeping myself in a constant state of caffeinated anxiety to get things done. On weekends I self-medicate with craft beer. Because balance.

I've worked for people all over the world, flopped a startup, and eventually ended up in consultancy. I'm basically a professional dumbass with a curiosity problem. I don't claim to be an expert in most of the things I write about. I just like figuring stuff out and writing down what I learn so I don't have to figure it out twice. If that helps someone else along the way, even better.

What This Blog Is

A place where I dump the things I find interesting, useful, or frustrating enough to write about. Developer tools, AI experiments, workflow tweaks, web dev, the occasional rant about enterprise software. No editorial calendar. No content strategy. Just whatever I'm into at the moment.

It's probably the most overengineered thing I've built for what is essentially a handful of markdown files. But hey, at least it's fast.
